If you ask me I’d say yes, but spoons and stirrers are there for a reason too. While you linger over the double meaning, let’s just grab some coffee in this special cup and imagine how we would stir in the milk and sugar if none of the above implements were at hand. With our fingers of course! And that too via its flexible lid; poke a finger through and get stirring mister! “Finger Coffee” Anyone?

Where do your best ideas come to you? In the toilet. That’s where everybody’s best ideas arrive, whether they know it or not. So get ready! Get this invention right here! All it is really is a bit of stainless steel tubing 2mm thick, plus a flat. Just stick your roll on there, tear off some sheets, and get to writing! But wait, with what? That’s where you’ve got to add something usually not sitting by the pot: pencils. Pens, markers, even crayons if you like.
I’m sure you can see the shape the back makes, the place where the roll goes, and the hole where the writing sticks go, but what about the ideas! That’s another thing you’ve got to add.
What a deal!

It is only every few years that a new hand-held video game system gets invented. They keep getting smaller, having better graphics, and being basically the same amount of weird and bulky to carry with. What Wilson Song was tasked with doing was making a gamer that not only utilized the best in chips for graphics, but also stored a pen, earbuds, and had the ability to become smaller for easy carrying. Peel and see!
What a pretty looking little system we have here! Wilson Song this is just what I’d be using if it were real! The “Samsung WM” has earbuds and pen that clip intuitively into the back panel, a giant screen, and the ability to be tossed on the wrist like one of those slap-bracelets from the 1980s. The controls work with new motion-capture technology and a camera in the back to see what precisely your thumbs and feet are up to.
And it’ made of gold! Or regular materials.

There is this interesting idea McD have in London Piccadilly. The idea is just so interesting and so appealing to anyone not just tourist. Bravo and two thumbs up!
Like to ride your bike after the sun sets? Are you a real Night Rider? Confused as to why trucks don’t seem to notice your pleads for attention and keep slamming your bones around the city streets? Well if you like life and don’t want to die while cruising down the avenues after dark, this bike design by Rudi Moosmeier called “Tong City Bike” just might be all the vehicular enlightenment you’ll need. The designer’s concerns for your safety have manifested in this brilliant (pun intended) bike design that is not only low maintenance, but also safe and secure. The low maintenance aspect is in the all-in-one housing for the brake system, drivetrain, shock absorbers and gears. The safe aspect comes from the use of integrated light tubes that can be customized to any color you desire, making you a more obvious target. Last but not least, this rolling rig even comes with a mini lockable safe, for storing your mobile phone, wallet, light saber or Batphones.

Grass cutting is a bore, but even the most monotonous chores can be remedied if you make it fun. The Muwi concept is an automated mower barreled shape to compact grass cuttings into balls and disks for, get this. . . to play with. Of course if you’re the type that hates grass stains, these balls and disks are also perfect as compost fertilizer.
Designer: Yuli Sung
Texts from the designer:
‘Muwi’ first acknowledges the entire size of the land and automatically cuts the grass. The cut grass, which is created upon cutting the grass, is stored inside. As the cut grass begins to accumulate inside the machine, ‘Muwi’ constructs and compresses the cut grass into two types of blocks.
Then this cut grass is no longer a remainder that needs extra efforts to be thrown out or cleaned up. It rather becomes balls for children to play with or a chair to sit on or any other opportunity.
The Knife Hooks are designed by TC Studio, a studio owned by industrial designer Tianyi Chang. The Knife Hooks are easy to install, simply screw the hooks into the wall and you’ll have a very funny way to hang your clothes. They are available in matte black only. But I think maybe they should also make the one with the metallic finish to make it even more realistic. Dare to throw a real knife on your wall?

Designed by Russian industrial designer Maria Yasko these modular shelving units would definitely add a focal point to any room, especially when added with the wall graphics. The project is named “Vjunok“and and at this project the designer seems to have been inspired by nature and surroundings, as one can see many of the designs which have graphically designed leaves and branches as extensions of the structures. Each design seems to be the perfect fusion of art and design, and is a great way to make a room or a piece of furniture more interesting.
